Official says Anna Nicole Smith's lover Howard K. Stern is an "enabler"

"...Howard K. Stern once loved posing with pill-popping Anna Nicole Smith, but he's not happy in mug shots taken by cops, who say the Playmate's Svengali was also her supplier.

Stern is free on $20,000 bail after turning himself in late Thursday to face charges he worked with two Los Angeles doctors to supply the drug-addled Smith with thousands of prescription pills, including Ambien, Xanax, Ativan, hydromorphone, Valium and Klonopin.

...Stern's lawyer, L. Lin Wood, who represented the family of JonBenet Ramsey, did not return a call seeking comment...'
