Roman Polanski's arrest puts his story once again front and center of international legal and entertainment news coverage. Then Iran is test firing missiles and somehow when it comes to media coverage, JonBenet Ramsey is bound to get thrown into to mix.

A couple years ago I happen to be reading an article about public education on global warming. In the middle of the piece was JonBenet's name. What did a murdered 6 year old have to do with carbon footprints and melting icecaps? Almost as though it was JonBenet's own fault, seems media coverage of a pervert (abu$ing her name to exploit the famous unsolved murder) overshadowed the release of an important global warming study.

Today's post by Petrov, below, was a nice little rewind back to why this blog evolved...what people are writing and speaking of JonBenet--

"Right on schedule, JUST before the talks between Iran and the "super powers"(who designated them to be super powers anyway???) an event that is tailor made to divert world's attention occurs: Polanski gets arrested after 31 years on the run....

Mighty interesting coincidence, the timing is JUST so darn perfect. I am sure I am one of the few people who remember but right before Israel attacked Lebanon a few years ago, a hapless guy was arrested in Thailand who was somehow connected to the death of JonBenet Ramsey....

Ah, the next 49~72 hours will tell me if I am right or wrong. I wish I am wrong this time."
