The anniversary of JonBenet's birth date came and went last week as many case followers, true-crime sleuths noticed by posting happy birthday messages in a variety of forms and content remembering JonBenet. It is good her case is not being forgotten by so many caring people out there.

This year more poignantly than others such remembrances and good wishes are still a tad unsettling for me. I think Mary Bowman has described that discord best in her blog --
