Inspired by JonBenet, New York designer Patrik Rzepski collections hint at punk rock, violence and teenage angst.

"Tragic stories have always inspired me," said Mr. Rzepski, a design-school dropout, who has shown four collections, among them one based on JonBenet Ramsey and Sharon Tate.

Rzepski's first collection of womenswear debuted in October 2001 and a menswear line was launched in 2007.
